The dept of Physiotherapy -KMCT College of Allied Health Sciences organized “Awareness Classes” to observe World Disability Day -2019 on its campus recently. Sri.Prof.Dr.Vijay Selvan.N [Professor and HoD – Dept. of Physiotherapy] inaugurated the celebration by lighting the lamp.

Sri. Arafath [Asst. Professor – Dept. of Physiotherapy] delivered the presidential address and Miss Sandra Baby [Student – BPT 4th Year] welcomed the audience. The inaugural ceremony was followed by short-video screening.

Sri. Arafath and Miss Raniya [Student – 4th Year BPT] took awareness classes on different topics related disability. A talk on “disability “was delivered by Sri. Arafath. Miss Raniya spoke on the topic “Stephen Hawkings- the world-famous theoretical physicist”.

Students performed a skit to highlight the significance of World Disability Day 2019. The awareness classes and discussions conducted in connection with World Disability Day observance were really interesting and informative”, said one of the attendees.
